Looking for a place to fill your starving belly without worrying about your wallet going empty? Then, just keep reading.
We Filipinos LOVE food. We have that foodie spirit inside. We can not hide that. Right? No need to deny, it’s alright. Lol. When it comes to food, we have our ears on it, especially when it is FREE or UNLIMITED. So because of that, a lot of restaurants offer All-You-Can-Eat deals such as Unlimited Korean Pork or “Samgyupsal”, Unli Japanese Ramen, Unli Italian Pizza and Pasta, Unli Shrimps and Crabs, and Unli Rice to pair with those sumptuous food. And of course, the new trend, Unlimited Wings! That mouth-watering Fried Chicken Wings bath in various sauces. HHHMMM. Of course, prices of these Unli Deals vary depending on which food your stomach wants to consume. Mostly, it will cost you Php199 to Php 299. Cheap right? Some of them comes with unlimited side dishes and bottomless drinks too. So if you come across an All-You-Can-Eat promo for 99 peso, then it is a feast for your belly and your pocket. Tag your friends along because a feast won’t be a feast if you are alone!
Because of my love for chicken, last month I went around Cebu City to find the Best Restaurant for Unlimited Chicken Wings. I found quite a lot but only 5 restaurants stood out for me. I am pretty sure that the list I have here will satisfy your cravings and will not leave your pocket totally empty.
# 1 – Papart’s Diner and Cafe ★★★
Papart’s Diner and Cafe is the first restaurant I went to as it is very accessible to my place. It is also located near an arcade and a mall so expect that there is a crowd traffic when you get there weekday nights and at the weekends. In fact, it was 7 o’clock on a Thursday night when my friends and I first visited that diner and to our dismay they ran out of chicken already. What? That early? Hhhmmm. I was really triggered on how Papart’s chicken tasted like. So when I got my hands on their chicken, I found the answer. In a very affordable price (Php198), you get to have your unlimited chicken wings that include unli rice, one round of spaghetti bolognese or carbonara, one round of soup, and a bottomless iced tea. What a deal! Papart’s chicken wings comes in TWENTY different flavours: Original, Hot Arcadia (Spicy), Buffalo (Mild Spicy), Spiced Mango, Calamansi Garlic Butter, Mexican BBQ, Hickory BBQ, Peanut Butter, Ginger Lemon, Garlic Sauce, Thousand Island, Gravy, Honey Mustard, Sour Cream, Sweet & Sour, Honey Soy Garlic, Creamy Cheese, Taiwanese Curry, Teriyaki, Sour Cheese. You can order as many chicken flavors as you like and each flavors comes in five sets of chicken wings. I personally love their Honey Soy Garlic, Honey Mustard, and Buffalo. But you better be careful though as they have “NO, SHARING, NO TAKEOUT, NO LEFTOVER” policy. Each leftover piece will be charged Php 20.

# 2 – Burrow ★★★
Burrow’s chicken is one of my favorite among the five restaurants I have tried. It is mainly because Burrow serves the biggest chicken cuts among all! Not to mention that their sauce-coated-fried-chicken which is cooked perfectly. It is crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside It will surely satisfy that hunger of yours and makes you eat A LOT! Unlike Papart’s, Burrow has only FIVE but delectable chicken wing flavors: Garlic Parmesan, Mild Teriyaki, Asian BBQ, Chili, and Classic. And this deal comes only with unli rice so if you want to add bottomless iced tea, prepare 60 peso to be added on your bill. What I love about Burrow’s chicken is that they are cooked right after you order. Thus, these wings arrive on your table smoking hot! The Classic and Garlic parmesan are my favorite.
However, the downside of Burrow’s chicken is that their chicken are not properly coated with their sauces. I think they just drizzle it on top of the chicken before serving as I have not tasted any sauce flavor on the meat part of the chicken. I guess this is the reason why they have that dipping sauce on the menu. Hhhmmm.
Well, all in all, Burrow’s chicken is the bum. It was on our third attempt that we got to try their chicken as both of their branches never ran out of Cebuano food-lover waiting outside. I even saw groups of Japanese and Koreans waiting on the line outside their Park Mall branch where my friends and I dined in to. Both their main branch in Lahug and in Park Mall aren’t that spacious so seats are limited. I haven’t tried their Mactan branch though. It is best to come early so you can get a seat. You better plan that Burrow visit now.

# 3 – Pakû by Chef Binux★★★
Pakû is owned by the man behind their kitchen named Chef Binux. They offer various and unique flavors of their chicken wings, starting from the classic BBQ, Teriyaki, Hot Wings, Spicy Vinegar, Lemon Pepper, Cream Cheese, Honey Caramel, Mango Suave and the new favorite chicken flavor of the crowd, the Mango Wasabi. Mango Wasabi might sound weird but it is a very interesting combo what will amazingly surprise your taste buds. It’s my favorite along with the Lemon Pepper and Cream Cheese.
I am no professional chef but I think they need to improve on how they fried their chicken as it is a little dry for me and sadly they also come in tiny sizes. However, they are crispy so I advise you use your hands on eating them. Before digging in, you better wash your hands first or use their disposable hand gloves to enjoy eating these goodies. Also, be careful not to burn yourself (not like me) as they serve their wings freshly out from the pan.
Paku’s is not just your typical cheap food restaurant. Their unli promo is worth its price. Though the Unli Chicken Wings comes with unli rice only, they serve different kinds of refreshments on the other hand like; cucumber and blue lemonade, carbonated drinks, and even alcoholic drinks if you need one. So why need to go to another place if you can have chicken and beer all in one roof? So just tag your friends along and enjoy TGIF in Paku by Chef Binux.

# 4 – Wingers★★★★
Wingers is MY FAVORITE among the restaurants I have been to. They might not have that big cuts of chicken wings like the ones in Burrow but they have THE BEST SAUCE ever, especially the HONEY MUSTARD one. I definitely recommend it! A must try! Their sauce is absolutely mouthwatering and finger-licking-good! I was guilty at that time as I forgot about my diet. I wasn’t able to resist the tantalizing chicken wings. If I am not mistaken, I had 10 wings of their Honey Mustard, 5 of the Garlic Pepper, and one wings for each of their Major BBQ, Private Plain, and John Doe (Seasonal Flavor). It was that good that I couldn’t help myself from ordering them one after the other.
Wingers Unlimited Chicken wings is the most expensive so far. Aside from the Php 199 Unli Wings, ordering the Php69 Bottomless Drink bundle is a must for every diners. But it’s worth it as the refreshment bar has bottled water, Pepsi product sodas, Lipton Iced Tea, Pineapple and Four Season Juices. In addition to these appetizing chicken and drinks, Wingers’ Php 269 includes UNLI RICE and UNLI FRIES! Yes! You read it right! They serve fries. So it’s up to you if you want rice with your chicken or fries with it. If you opted for fries, you have an option of ordering 100g, 200g, 300g, or the 400g FRIES. Your choice!
Planning to go there now? Better plan it out. So WINGERS has the most crowd traffic so far. It was Wednesday night we decided to go to WINGERS but to our surprise, most of their shops were packed with diners inside and customers waiting for their turn outside in both their Mandaue and Mango branches. Our last hope that night was the Lahug branch and good thing they did not have that long queue outside when we arrived. We waited for more or less 15 minutes before we got our hands on their wings.
Wingers Unlimited Chicken Wings is totally worth the wait and worth the price! You will never regret dining here!

# 5 – Chicken Backyard★★★★
The end tail of my unli chicken wing journey led me at the Chicken Backyard in Banawa. Hence its name, the place seems just your typical backyard tables and chairs sandwiched between a local eatery and a car wash. The only thing that differs is you have smoking-hot Unli Chicken Wings on your table that you can devour within two hours. Yes! Unlike the other unli restaurants, this one in Banawa has a two-hour time limit. This is because to accommodate the other unli-chicken-wing-lover who wants to get their hands on Chicken Backyard’s flavorful chicken wings.
The moment I was seated, their very hospitable staffs greeted me and handed their menu. Ordering was easy as they serve only five chicken flavors. I ordered 2 pairs of each flavors and added sour cream coated french fries and unli ice tea for my drink. I wanna focus on the chicken so I skipped the rice. However, if feel that your meal is not complete without having a white rice on the table, you can order it for an additional Php 30.
My verdict? It was not bad. Each of their chicken was very well coated with their special sauces. The cuts was just right; not too small, nor too big, and they were properly coated as well. It was TASTY. HOWEVER, I find their chicken sauces over-powering. Though, each of their sauces has its own distinct taste but most were a bit SALTY except the Mango Chutney flavor though. The mango chunks creates harmony to their secret sauce. My favorite! And one thing I noticed was the oil they used was a bit dark and cloudy already. It seemed that they have used that oil for quite a while. Not healthy. I hope they change the oil for frying their chicken often.
