Who doesn’t love seeing a bunch of seafood on the table? Especially if it is freshly cooked and all-you-can-eat? No doubt that all of you answered yes. I know seafood is craved by many so here are two of the many seafood restaurants that is amazingly delicious and budget friendly.
Driveway Larangan and Seafood Street
Driveway Larangan and Seafood in V-Rama Avenue, Cebu offers a very tempting Unli Seafood that cost 199 peso ONLY. It is a COOK ALL YOU CAN and EAT ALL YOU CAN Seafood House. What else are you looking for?
I have been told to stay away from consuming seafood and chicken as it might be the reason of my allergies. However, after a month of going back and forth in the hospital, my doctor told me that seafood and chicken did not trigger my allergies and I am allowed to eat those sumptuous food anytime I want. Thus, I was digging google where to pig out for some unlimited seafood and more. And, Driveway Larangan and Seafood Street came first on the list. This restaurant is famous for their homestyle cooked meals in downtown Cebu.
I googled more and more and I got all the information I needed. So, it was one weekday night when I asked my food lover friend to pay Driveway Larangan and Seafood a visit. From Mandaue City, it took us 30 minutes to reach the restaurant in V-Rama Avenue, Cebu City by taxi.

This seafood street restaurant wasn’t as big as I expected. Driveway Larangan and Seafood Street is a small local style restaurant in the corner of the street near downtown Cebu but is fully packed with home cooked meals that has a very inviting food aroma. I wonder how the neighborhood resisted their delicious smell everyday. Well, we were blessed to have arrived at the food house earlier than the hungry diners. We were seated and then the staff started bringing in the cooking paraphernalias such as pan, portable cooking stove, plates and ladles, and a dish full of shrimps ready to be sauteed. In this restaurant, you can enjoy home cooked meals and the famous all-you-can-cook and all-you-can-eat shrimp at a very affordable price.
If you are not a chef yourself, worry no more as this restaurant’s friendly and accommodating staff can cook the shrimps for you. It is like watching a cooking show where you get to see the chef mixing and seasoning the ingredients added in the pan and then you act as the judge to critique the food served in front of you. Writing this makes my mouth water. Hhhmmmm
Aside from the cook-all-you-can and unlimited shrimp Driveway Larangan and Seafood Street eatery offers, the other food on their unlimited line up won’t disappoint your taste buds. Scallops, sisig, larang, grilled pork, grilled fish, and pochero are just a few from their menu that taste so good. Before I forget, they also serve crabs on weekends! So better get that phone and make a reservation as they get crowded easily.
All food was so good that we even lose count as to how many sets of shrimps we ordered. What we did was cook, eat, drink, and repeat. In Driveway Larangan and Seafood eatery, your 199 is totally worth it.
How to get there:
If you are familiar with the jeepney in Cebu then you can take 06G or 12L jeepney going to V. Rama and tell the driver that you want to go to Driveway Larangan in V. Rama (most of the drivers know the place). For those coming to this eatery by their private vehicles, then just type in *Driveway Larangan* as your destination.
Grab a Crab
This restaurant had been on my TO-DINE-LIST in Cebu for a while now. However, it was just so recent that I got the chance to get my hands dirty with their meatilicious and juicilicious Unlimited Crabs.

After that Driveway Larangan all you can cook and all you can eat shrimp, my quest in searching unlimited seafood didn’t stop. If the shrimp in the prior mentioned restaurant was finger licking good, then the crabs in Grab a Crab is to die for. Especially their meatilicious garlic butter prawns.
For me, Grab A Crab is one of the best seafood eateries in Cebu. This restaurant offers cheap and reasonable yet delicious seafood. With your 250 pesos, you can enjoy unlimited small crabs and 450 pesos for the big ones. The unli deals include Unlimited rice already. You may add 50 peso for an unlimited drinks. On my visit, I ordered small crabs but I was surprised because their small crabs wasn’t small at all. Truly this Grab A Crab won’t disappoint you.
Aside from the crabs that they offer, they also serve prawns. However, the prawns are served per grams. Those 3 prawns in the photo was more or less half a kilo and it’s just 300 peso. Isn’t it cheap? Just looking at those photos makes me super hungry right now.
How to get there:
Just take any jeepney going to Mercado, Mandaue and inform the driver to drop you off at Oporto Coco Lumber. Grab A Crab is just right across it. On the other hand, if you come by taxi, grab, or private car, then put Oporto Coco Lumber as your destination.
